Delicious white pizza - perfectly gooey and with just the right amount of cheese and oil. Busy bright location- great as bite to eat but not great for date night.
I ordered their monthly special with Mike's hot honey. It was really delicious. The staff and service is always great. They always keep the place tidy. One of my go-to places for a quick pizza bite!
Very very good napolitano pizza. Individual 8" pizzas with great salad sides. The service was attentive and efficient. Simo pizza is located directly across the street from The Whitney. The inside matches for a grab n go or an eat and go place. I'd return whenever I'm at The Whitney
Simo was a great choice for Neapolitan pizza that was quick and delicious. It's conveniently located next to The Whitney, and has a couple of small outdoor tables on the elevated sidewalk, in addition to a clean, modern interior with a lot more seating. Ordering is at the counter, and they have a few drink options to choose from (including a couple of beers and canned wines). They bring your order out to your table once it's ready. The diavola was good -- nice flavor, and a great Neapolitan crust that came out well. One pizza was okay for two people as a small meal, but you might need one pizza per person if you're going to make this your lunch or dinner. For $16 per pizza (as of September 2024), this is a good deal in the area!
Simò has some solid pizza at reasonable prices- could do with a bit more mozzarella though but I'm a fan regardless. It is conveniently located right across from the Whitney so if you're looking for a (relatively) quick bite before heading to the museum, this would be your best bet.
This is my favorite pizza place to stop by after a nice walk on The Highline. The pizza is very fresh and delicious. Pesto pizza is my favorite! The Insalta Mista is also really good. They have indoor and outdoor seating and the food is prepared quickly which is great. The staff is very friendly. The kids pizzas are shaped in either a bunny or heart shaped, which my kids always enjoy. They also like going for the peach iced teas.
Ordered takeout via DoorDash, didn't want to spend money on hotel food. We ordered the caprese salad and the cheese pizza. The cheese pizza was so flavorful, every bite would give me a different cheese. The caprese salad was also very tasty, just wished it had more balsamic vinegar.
